In this lesson, we continue our study of fractions at the 5th grade level by gaining practice with writing out fractions as words.
This is an important math skill because in many cases word problems that involve fractions have the fraction written out into words. The student needs to read the problem and translate the words into math so that the problem can be solved.
In this lesson, we do several examples and show how to read the numerator and denominator of a fraction and write the fraction as words.
